Alright, first post time. First things first, I'm likely not going to do a whole lot in the way of posting here, since I have other sites (devART, RoosterTeeth) that I mess around on, and the main reason behind my joining LJ is because I just like looking at stuff on here. I'm a pretty shy person, generally, so I don't post a lot on any site, really. Anyway, on to the actual entry:

I'm currently in university, studying to become I don't know what. I'm in my second year, and having scrapped my original idea of veterinary medicine due to an extreme aversion to maths and chemistry, I'm now trying to figure out exactly what I want to do. For now, I'm debating between history or archaeology majors. 

Interest-wise, I'm very into music. My main genre is rock, all kinds, and also country, but I listen to a variety of other things as well, and am willing to give anything a listen to try it out. My all-time favourite band is Crash Test Dummies. Other bands high on my list are Billy Talent, A Perfect Circle, Eve 6, Nickelback, Our Lady Peace, Red Hot Chili Peppers, to name a few. I'm an avid reader, with my favourite authors including Terry Pratchett, Diana Gabaldon, Anne Bishop, W.Michael and Kathleen O'Neal Gear, Jane Austen, and J.K. Rowling. A few favourite titles are: Outlander, Pride and Prejudice, Reaper Man, Thief of Time, Lord John and the Private Matter, Heir to the Shadows, People of the Lakes. I play a few computer games, mostly strategy stuff like Civilization, Heroes of Might and Magic, that sort of thing. 

Well, I can't really think of anything else to add at the moment, other than that when I do update with new entries, they likely won't be too profound, just me babbling on about one thing or another.
